The procedure for returning goods is regulated by the Law of Ukraine "About consumer protection".
1. In case of purchasing an item of the inappropriate quality:
According to Article 8 of this Law, during the warranty period, the consumer has the right to replace the product or refund the money in case of detection of significant defects made by manufacturer.
According to Clause 12 of Article 1 of this Law, a significant defect is a defect which arose due to the fault of the manufacturer and which makes it impossible to use the item in accordance with its intended purpose. After its elimination, it appears again for reasons independent of the consumer and at the same time has at least one of the following features:
- it cannot be eliminated at all;
- it takes more than fourteen calendar days to eliminate it;
- it makes an item significantly different from what was described in the contract.
In case of purchasing an item that has appropriate quality, but, for some reason, don’t suit the consumer.
According to Article 9 of the Law of Ukraine "About consumer protection" the consumer has the right to replace the product of appropriate quality with a similar one, within 14 days since the day of purchase. If the product does not fit in terms of shape, dimensions, style, color or cannot be used for its intended purpose, but at the same time it has not been used by consumer (has its appearance, consumer properties, seals, factory packaging, documents).
If, at the time of the replacement, a similar item is not in stock, the consumer has the right to purchase any other item, or to receive money back in the amount of the cost of an item that is being returned. It is also possible to exchange an item for a similar one at the first arrival of the corresponding item in stock. When refunding money, settlements with the consumer are carried out based on the cost of the product at the time of its purchase.
To be eligible to replace an item or to get the refund, please provide the following:
- the product has not been used, its appearance, consumer properties have been preserved, the product has no signs of use: scratches, chips, abrasions, mechanical damage (the product is in the same condition as at the time of receiving it by consumer)
- the product is fully assembled and the integrity of the brand packaging is not violated, all labels, protective films, factory markings are preserved (the product is in the same condition as at the time of receiving it by consumer)
- all settlement documents are present
